Session structure

• Morning Session: 7:00am – 1:00pm

• School Day: 9:00am – 3:00pm

• Afternoon Session: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

• Full Day: 7:00am – 6:00pm

Funded hours are delivered within these structured sessions to support consistent staffing ratios, continuity of care, uninterrupted learning opportunities, organised mealtimes and rest periods, and a calm, predictable routine for children.

Funded childcare available

• universal funded hours for eligible children

• extended funded hours for eligible working families

• other funded childcare schemes introduced by Government and administered through the Local Authority (EYE - Lincolnshire)

 

How funded hours are applied

​

Funded hours are applied against a child’s booked attendance pattern in accordance with Local Authority (EYE - Lincolnshire) requirements.

The pattern of funded attendance offered will depend on:

• the child’s age group

• session availability

• staffing ratios

• the safe and efficient operation of the setting

• the need to maintain a stable routine for children within the provision

 

Stretched and shared delivery

Where permitted, funded hours may be offered on a stretched basis across the year rather than term-time only. Funded hours may also be shared with another provider where this is permitted and agreed.

 

Hours and services outside the funded entitlement

​

Parents remain responsible only for hours, services, or items that are not covered by the funded entitlement.

• additional paid childcare hours

• meals where purchased from the setting

• non-food consumables where not supplied by parents

• optional additional services requested by parents

Access to a funded place is not conditional on the purchase of meals, consumables, or optional additional services.
